How to Twitter?

I want to be "in" with social media. I enjoy Tumblr and have even made a YouTube video and I was doing decent at keeping up a blog. There is just something about Twitter that has me stumped though. How does it work? What do you even tweet?

This is what I have figured out so far:

• Daily happenings
• Quotes
• Giveaways
• Participating in trends
• Replying to others
• Love of people or items
• Pictures
• And mostly just tweet whatever you want! 

It still seems a bit intimidating to me but we'll give it another try!!
